Hey everyone! Can you believe the Summer is OVER?!?!?!?! WOW!
Well we are all returning to our normal routines and classes at AKKA are no different. Although we never stopped (those hard core among us!) we would like to remind lost students an new interested ones that we are training twice a week at AKKA (170 Middle St. in Weymouth): Monday and Wednesday starting at 8:00. If you are interested in Irish Stick Fighting, Silat or the Filipino Martial Arts please drop in or drop me a line.
Ok so it’s a little late to the Cyber-party but we are on the One Guest St. Programe over at WGBH Boston!

My son Erik is helping me out in this and does a great job with only few minutes of coaching in advance. He has taken a couple of classes with me in ISF and came to Toronto with me in January when I visited Sifu Doyle so he has some exposure to the System.

Hey all! Wordpress ROCKS! In about an hour and a half I was able to get a shopping cart solution up and some products and IO believe we are good to go! If you check out the Products Page you will see options for the various programs. I am using Paypal to do the transaction which is easy-peasy and very secure. If you don’t have a Paypal account it’s easy to set up and very reliable. You can use credit cards, debit cards or even your checking account directly. It really is VERY easy to use.
I am trying to get it configured to have recurring Monthly payments that you can set up to aoutmatically get pulled once a month but haven’t quite figured that part out yet so stay tuned.

Ok… finally carved out some time to put together my little Studio in Cyberspace. Woot!
For thos that have not heard the last month or so has been very… Interesting.. The school that I previously ran my classes out of, Weymouth Martial Arts, had to close down and I had to find a new place to teach out of. Luckily I was able to meet Mr. Mark DiNino at American Kempo Karate Academy and he helped set up a transition plan for former WMA stiudents as well as allowed my to transfer my programs to his school.
So I will be managing my Class Calendar out of here as well as my Facebook groups (Filipino Martial Arts - Boston and Irish Stick Fighting - Boston) and I will be doing all billing through here…as soon as I get the Shopping Cart Installed on Wordpress..
